Our lives are always changing. What has been is not what will be in a month or a year. So how do we live? We live thoughtfully and with grace and prayer. And then we move on from there.

I’ve been thinking recently about how much my life has changed within just the past year. One of the major changes has been the release of my first self-help book, The Mind-Body Peace Journal: 366 Mindful Prompts for Serenity and Clarity, which has been the start of writing a series of books to inspire people to journal their way to improved wellness.
The second most significant change occurred a few months later, when I returned to the field of HIV/AIDS social work after being away from it since 2007. I’ve been amazed by the advances in the treatment of this illness that was once considered fatal but can now be managed like other chronic medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
Both changes have been blessings to me and have allowed me to be a blessing to others.
What have been some beneficial changes for you?
