Centering in the Present Moment
Past and future veil God from our sight; burn up both of them with fire.
“Where am I? What am I doing?” Asking myself these two simple questions is powerful way to center myself into the Present Moment when I start worrying about the future or regretting things from the past. I find that when I focus on exactly where I am and what I’m doing there—like washing dishes in my kitchen or standing in a grocery store checkout line–I find peace in the here and now.
